For our second Senior Spotlight of the day we have IA-1794, Bryan Kubel! As our past Social Media manager he had a bit to say about his time here at Ball State University and Iota-Alpha.
Do you have any post-graduation plans? If so, what are they?
"I will be moving back to my home state of Wisconsin to work in sales and marketing at a software company in Milwaukee."
What are some of your favorite memories of being a Brother at Iota-Alpha
"My favorite Lambda Chi memories are the times where I've hung out with brothers unexpectedly. The things that aren't planned out are usually the most fun to do. My brothers have become my best friends, so almost every time I hang out with them, it's bound to be a good time. Spring Break '14 in Gulf Shores, Alabama; Spring Break '16 in Las Vegas; and Homecoming 2015 were also pretty fun times with brothers as well."
What will be some things you will miss about Ball State University
"I'm definitely going to miss being so close to everything that I know and love. There won't be another time in my life where all my best friends are within a mile radius and I can walk to see them. Ball State has provided me with so many unique opportunities, and I will be forever grateful that I had a chance to make a difference in so many ways on this campus."
What would be some advice you'd give to an incoming freshmen
"I would tell incoming freshmen to get involved early on. I discovered during my four years here that you don't need to have a fancy title to make a difference, whether it's in Lambda Chi or something else. I never held an officer position in Lambda Chi, but I still wanted to make an impact on this chapter, so I did it through unconventional ways. By becoming involved, you'll feel connected to something even more, and that's how I felt with Lambda Chi."
Thanks for all your work for Iota-Alpha, Bryan! Make sure to come back and visit!
